Jett celebrated his 8th birthday on the Eleventh. It was a pretty uneventful day. He went to school came home had his birthday dinner of Tuna Salad and opened presents. On Sunday the fam came over, Jacob, Elliot, Rheanna, Doug, Eddie, Carline, Matix & Kiera. We told him people came to see him but in reality it was to see me.
Mom celebrated her 31st birthday a week later. Her friend Wendy Jacobs (aka Wendy Miller from Canyon Country) brought her a very rich and a very delicious chocolate cake. I was not aware and brought her an ice cream cake home. She started to make her own birthday dinner and I tried to take over but had to ask her what I was doing and when so she really didn't get much of a break. Her car is slowly getting fixed (can you count that as a gift or just prolonging life?)
