This was moms handy work. You can't really grasp the detail she put in to shaving Crackhead in the pictures. The very top of her is a little pink from when mom switched over to using Pops clippers. But boy is she is soft now.

Doesn't that qualitfy as animal cruelty?
Reminds me of the haircuts mom used to give us... and believe we have some pictures to prove that as well.
A little FYI...
I have shaved my cat every year (late spring/early summer) for about the last 4 or 5 years. According to my vet it's actually a relief to them. Just make sure they don't get in the direct sun because they can get a sunburn.
