Jenni says Avalon is grounded for life!
Sweet little Avalon had her surgery on Mon to remove the webbing. It took three hours and they said she would need to be on a feeding tube for at least a week. Which she tried to pull out once she woke up.
The next day she thought she had a good enough time in surgery she would go back in for another. She decided to mix things up a bit and collapse a lung for this one. So they put in a chest tube.
Day three she accomplished what she set out to do on Monday and she pulled out her feeding tube. (She's a quick one) Back to surgery she goes so they can put in a direct line to her main artery (I can't remember what it is called. Not a PICC line but.....)
You will get more in depth details when Jenni is not grounded at the hospital and doesn't have so much going on. But I will try my best.
Our wonderful mother who celebrated her birthday last week left the following day to go spend some time with Aaron while the rest of his family hangs out at the hospital.
Which leaves me with the kids and their homework. It has been too long since I did that stuff because I took one look and said, "WTH?" (figure it out)
I made them chore jars. Jett looses a quarter for every time he lies to me. Seems to be working, so far. Or at least he's getting better at lying.
And finally...our dancing queen.
